Spring is officially here, and along with the flowers and warmer temperatures, road construction rises again.

If you're a frequent traveler of US 20, particularly the interchange at US 20 and Route 2, I have some frustrating news for you: beginning Monday, March 25, you're daily commute is going to hit a major hiccup.

WREX reports that construction on the interchange at 20 and Route 2 will begin Monday and is not expected to be complete until October 2020.

Crews will be constructing the area into a diamond interchange with traffic lights at the ramp, and lane reductions and/or detour signs will be in place until the work is completed.

I apologize for being the bearer of bad news today, but I just wanted to make sure you all are aware and prepared for the mess that begins Monday.
