Six different Six Flags locations are getting ready to reopen across the US with some new safety measures in place.

The six locations in Georgia, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and Mexico will open first.

When those places start to allow customers in, Six Flags will require everyone to make reservations first.

Six Flags is also asking guests to wear face masks and will install hand-sanitizing stations throughout the park according to People.

All told, these measures should make a trip to Six Flags Great America a much safer experience while we go through the coronavirus pandemic.

While these preventative safety measures are going into effect in other parts of the country, you have to imagine the same will happen when Hurricane Harbor in Rockford opens.

Hurricane Harbor, the former Magic Waters is now part of the Six Flags family of theme parks.

According to, 80% of people in a recent survey said they'd "visit a Six Flags park in 2020 if the company implemented health and safety measures."
