Look Out for Another Phone Scam

If learning about the MasterCard scam last week wasn't enough, now we have another phone scam to look out for.

WIFR reports that the Illinois National Guard was alerted to a new phone scam. "There are some individuals claiming to be with the Illinois National Guard and soliciting donations by telephone."

A spokesperson from the Illinois National Guard says that it is against U.S. Department of Defense regulations for the Illinois National Guard and all other such forces to ask for donations of any kind.

If you should receive a call like this, the Illinois National Guard advises you to contact your local law enforcement immediately.
