LimeBikes Are So Last Week, Something New Coming To Rockford

Remember when LimeBikes were found in all the wrong places? Let's hope this doesn't happen to these scooters that will soon be popping up throughout Rockford.

Uber announced a

p with Lime (the company behind LimeBike) and will expand scooter rentals to all over the nation, including Rockford, according to WIFR. These little devils are lightweight and travel up to 15 m.p.h. but the rental fee is significantly more than a LimeBike. A one-hour scooter rental would cost you $9 versus $1/hour for a LimeBike. A full battery should last about 20 miles.

No dated for Rockford delivery has been confirmed.
