Life Was A Bowl of Chili at Chili Shoot-Out 2014

It certainly was chilly for all the delicious chili eating this past Saturday at Aviators Stadium for the 2014 Wiff'n Chili event! In case you just couldn't bring yourself to brave the weather, here's some pics to put you right in the middle of the fun.

Let's not talk about that. Instead, feast your eyes on our booth instead. "Not Your Mummy's Chili" was so good it was scary! (obviously too scary for the judges as well.)

We brought in a celebrity chef, (Jonny J's brother, Mike) to cook up his special brew for us, and we are so very thankful he did! Let me just say this. The recipe I had picked out to cook (if Mike had not saved the day) was one I tried for the first time the other day. I botched it. Aren't you glad I wasn't responsible for cooking this year?!?

Instead I stuck to what I am more comfortable with, decorating. I like to call this, "How to make a booth for no money at all." Lol! Thank goodness I have a lot of Halloween decorations at home, and that work has a lot of toilet paper. I think she turned out pretty darn good if I do say so myself.

Despite the cold, it was a great day for chili, and we hope ya'll had as much fun as we did! Next year though, we have decided we will be handing out shots of Beano.
