Leaving A Water Bottle In A Hot Car Could Start A Fire

This week I have learned two things NOT to do when extreme heat hits: you should never gulp down ice-cold water when you're overheated, and leaving a full water bottle in a hot car could start a fire. Seriously.

Mentalfloss.com recently published a story about the dangers of leaving a water bottle in your car during extreme heat. Drinking from a heated water bottle is not only dangerous for your health, but for your car's safety as well according to this video from a man named Dioni Amuchastegui.

Better check those cars today to make sure no full water bottles are laying around inside of it!
