Learn First Aid For Your Pet At Loves Park Class
First aid class for your pet available in Loves Park.
My neighbors have a couple of dogs and they leave them outside all the time in a cage. It just breaks my heart to see them when I get home from work every day. Unfortunately, it is not against the law, so basically, there is nothing I can do about it. I will be honest, there have been a couple of times when they were just howling for attention and I just wanted to go over and let them out of their confinement so they could run around their yard.
I grew up with pets and now I have them with my own family too. I do not know if you feel the same way if you are a pet owner, but to me, they are part of the family. When there is something wrong with them or they get sick, it really makes me feel bad. I will do whatever it takes to help them. Even if it is a late-night visit to the emergency clinic for animals. Trust me, I have been there a couple of times myself.
Unlike humans, we can not ask them what is wrong. That makes it hard to assist them. Of course, many people have some first aid knowledge, so if something happens to a family member they can possibly stabilize the situation until a doctor, nurse, or first responder can help.
I was just thinking the other day, I wonder if there are any first aid procedures that owners could learn to use on their little animal friends. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there is and you can even take a class to learn how. Even better, there is a place locally where you can do it.
