Former Chicago Bear Jared Allen announced his retirement from the NFL in a very unique way.

Last Thursday, the former Bear (Chief, Viking, and Panther) took to social media announced he would ride off into the sunset.

In 2014, Allen signed a four-year deal with the Chicago Bears worth $32 million., but only played four games in one season. You'll recall that Allen Allen missed the game against the Packers due to pneumonia. He finished 2014 with 52 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 4 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries. In 2015, Allen was traded to the Carolina Panthers.

We wish Jared the best!
