Don't you ever wonder about stuff?

I mean, that's why you're here right?

Honestly, that's how this whole story is getting put together. From a place of wondering where the best balloon rides in America are.

Between you and I, I have never been on a hot air balloon, and again, more truth here, I would love to go one but I just didn't think I lived in an area where "hot-air ballooning" is a thing.

It turns out I was wrong about that one and it's pretty close to where I live too, so it's like an added bonus.

Anyway, I happened upon this website called Attractions of America and they had listed the Top 10 Best Hot-Air Balloon Rides in the USA and much to my surprise one of the finest is in Wisconsin.

Attractions of America says Lake Geneva is the spot for a hot-air balloon ride in America. Ranked 7th overall, they say:

The hot-air balloon passenger can look down on homes that once were owned by such American business scions as Montgomery Ward, Richard Sears, William Wrigley, and Allan Pinkerton.

Several of these magnificent homes are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This will truly be an unforgettable balloon ride.

Now I've been to Lake Geneva and never noticed all the hot-air balloons but either way, it seems that The Lake Geneva Balloon Company is rated as the spot to go get your ride all set.

On TripAdvisor, The Lake Geneva Balloon Company is rated a five out of five with customers saying they "absolutely loved it" and the ride was "spectacular."

So how much for a balloon ride at Lake Geneva Balloon Company? I don't want to ruin it for you, just take a peek at the booking information. There are two options, fly with randos or privately.

Is it worth the money to take a hot-air balloon ride? Just wondering.
