As someone who has spent some time on life’s Injured List, I can totally feel this Cubs player’s pain.

I, too, tore my meniscus, ACL, and sprained my MCL in one fell swoop playing pickup basketball. I also fractured my knee cap as a child, so again, yeah, I know a thing or two about knee injuries.

That’s all to say, I’ve never injured myself while around my kids.

Cubs Ace Matthew Boyd Sidelined by After Hangout with Kids

CBS 2 says, “Chicago Cubs pitcher Matthew Boyd is going to have surgery after he injured his left knee while hanging out with his kids on Wednesday.”
