If you truly want to be a "Barbie girl in a Barbie world", then you need to head to Oakbrook Center in Oakbrook, IL this Saturday, July 29, 2023, for the ULTIMATE Barbie shopping experience!

Illinois Loves Barbie

I have two young daughters that are completely OBSESSED with all things Barbie, and I am ashamed to admit that I have not taken them to see the new Barbie movie yet...but it's on our to-do list for this weekend!

I've read and heard rave reviews about the new Barbie movie, but what I love even more is all the people I've seen posting pictures of themselves and their kids dressed head to toe in Barbie as they head to the theaters to see it.

As a fellow Barbie appreciator, I now feel like I cannot go to see the movie without wearing fabulous Barbie fashion. Thankfully, the perfect opportunity to load up on Barbie merch is happening this Saturday at Oakbrook Center in Oakbrook, Illinois...

The Barbie Truck Dreamhouse Living Tour Stop in Illinois

On Saturday, July 29 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. the Barbie Truck Tour will be parked outside of Oakbrook Center near Macy's and will be packed full of exclusive Barbie merchandise to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Barbie's first dreamhouse, (and her super cool new movie).

Inside this super cool van Barbie fans will find all kinds of new merchandise to buy ranging from t-shirts and hoodies to home goods, jewelry, keychains, hats, and more!

Some of this exclusive merchandise is available online, but the photo ops and fun available only at the truck tour make it well worth the in-person trip. And, while you've got Barbie on the brain, you should probably try to make a reservation for the Malibu Barbie Cafe that is now open in Chicago so you can make it a full Barbie-tastic day!
