An Illinois bakery just got called the very best in the entire state.
No small feat either for this bakery as it has some definite stiff competition considering where it’s located.
According to Yelp’s Best Bakery to Treat Yourself in Every State they think Mindy’s Bakery is the spot.
Here’s why, with over 2,500 reviews on the popular food site, Mindy’s is rated a sterling 3.9 out of 5.
Melissa P. called Mindy’s “the most delicious bakery, ever” while highly recommending the almond croissant.
Maddy S. says the “atmosphere is great” and the food is “mouthwatering.”
Mindy’s does have its detractors though. Mike F. asks "Is this place a joke?” While claiming “the portions are laughable” it should be called “Minis” instead of Mindy’s.
On the other hand, Lauren H. mentions the “great portion” and “amazing flavor” of the food at Mindy’s.
In case you’re in Wisconsin and want something a bit closer to home, the state’s best bakery is Le Reve Patisserie & Cafe in Wauwatosa.
