Illinois Lawmakers’ Pay At Stake Over Budget Woes
Things are getting heated down in Springfield as one Illinois official says to stop paying lawmakers.
Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has had it will Illinois' budget issues. According to WIFR, she's filed legal papers seeking to stop lawmakers pay until a plan is in place.

The state has been operating without a balanced budget for nearly two years.
I understand her frustration - we're all frustrated. Our state, at this point, is a joke. I'm not sure this will do anything other than force lawmakers to make knee-jerk decisions when it comes to taking care of their families.
WIFR's story goes on to say,
The Rauner Administration released a statement urging the Attorney General to reconsider, saying the filing seeks to directly harm thousands of employee families.
Hey, the Gov and I agree on something. Look at that.
