Illinois Lands On The Top 10 Of The Most Fun States

When it comes to fun, what states pop into your mind?

Does Illinois?

Don't laugh because the Land of Lincoln landed on the top 10 of the most fun states to visit.

I'm serious. It really did.

According to a survey done by WalletHub Illinois is a fun state to visit.

WalletHub based there findings  by "[comparing] the 50 states across 26 key indicators of a jolly good time that won’t break the bank. They range from movie costs to accessibility of national parks to casinos per capita."

This is what they found for the Top 10 Fun States:

1. California

2. New York

3. Nevada

4. Florida

5. Illinois

6. Washington

7. Texas

8. Colorado

9. Pennslyvania

10. Minnesota

Well look at that Illinois is right in the middle of the pack. That's pretty darn cool for us.

As for which states to avoid, because they just aren't fun, here they are:

2. Kentucky

3. Montana

4. Alabama

5. Vermont

6. Arkansa

7. Rhode Island

8.  Delaware

9. Mississippi

10. West Virginia

Sorry West Virginia you may be "for Lovers" but WalletHub says you aren't a fun place to visit.

The moral of the story here is this, next time says nothing good happens in Illinois we can prove them wrong. WalletHub says were a fun state. we made the top 10 and are right in the middle of the entertainment section for things to do and enjoy.
