Some reasons why mosquitoes decide to bite you.

In the summertime, I like being outside. I know a lot of people do. Especially, in the Rockford area because we only get to enjoy it part of the year.

There's one thing that can really ruin an outdoor nice weather activity. That's mosquitoes. It's awful to get eaten alive and then have to deal with that issue for the rest of the night.

It seems like I'm the one they like to attack. There's always one in the crowd. I'm not a huge fan of bug stray but I'm not afraid the coat it on my skin to avoid that itchy feeling.

Through the years, I've heard many different explanations of why some people get bitten badly and some don't get touched. Here are some of the real reasons.

According to jg-tc.com,

"While mosquitoes are likely to make nearly everyone at least a little miserable, certain qualities might make you more of a magnet than others."

Here are some of their more popular targets.

  • Pregnant
  • Male
  • Blood Type
  • Alcohol
  • Sweat

If you're a bigger guy with Type O blood that sweats a lot while drinking, you might as well stay inside because you don't have a chance.
