After two EF-2 tornadoes tore through Sublette, IL in Lee county Monday night many are asking how can we help the victims of the tornadoes.

Here's how.

In this WREX article it was noted that you can make donations of money or gifts to the Farmer's State Bank in Sublette.

You can mail donations to:
Farmers State Bank
PO Box 20, 303 S. Pennsylvania
Sublette, IL 61367

Or checks can be made out to United Way of Lee County — Emergency and Relief Fund of Lee County. Donations can also be made online via PayPal at www.unitedwayofleecounty.org. Indicate it is for the Lee County Severe Weather Emergency and Relief Fund.

Also, 100 percent of the funds will stay local.

At this time, volunteers are not needed however, official say to continue to check the Woodhaven Lakes and Lake County EMA facebook pages for updates, needs and other volunteer opportunities.
