November 25th in downtown Rockford launches the Christmas season with the fun  of Stroll on State.

Help is needed to make centerpiece of evening look good. The RACVB needs volunteers to decorate the Christmas tree.

WIFR reported that the tree was donated by Rockford resident, Jill Peyton, and the city cut down the 50 foot tree and relocated it to it's final spot at West State and Wyman yesterday.

Now that the tree is up it's ready for the trimmings and this is where you come in.

The RACVB needs volunteers to help decorate the tree along with the rest of State Street in preparation of Stroll on State, November 25th.

They're needing volunteers this Friday, November 17th and Saturday November 18th to trim the tree and get everything ready for the big day on November 25th when it opens at 2PM.
