Globetrotters Visit Q98.5

The Harlem Globetrotters will invade the BMO Harris Bank Center Saturday, December 27, at 1:00 p.m. with Q98.5. 'Sweet J' stopped by the Wake Up Crew and told us what was special about their visit in Rockford this time around.

Thanks to the generosity of the famous Harlem Globetrotters, one lucky Veteran from our Armed Forces will serve as an honorable Globetrotter. A lucky Stateline area Vet can sit up close, and possibly be in the show.

To nominate a local hero, just go to HarlemGlobetrotters.com. Right after the National Anthem, a local hero will be escorted to the sidelines for the fun from the Globetrotters bench.

Thanks to 'Sweet J', only 1 of 12 female Harlem Globetrotters ever, I got the chance to try my skills at the iconic Harlem Globetrotters finger spin. Not bad! (Ok, she totally did everything, I just had to point my finger.....)

By the way, the Washington Generals are out for revenge and plan on playing to the highest degree to get a win. If I were a betting man, I would bet the house on the Trotters.
