Chilling Paranormal Evidence from Boone County Museum Captured on Video
MidwestGhost Investigators recently conducted a paranormal investigation of the Boone County Museum of History in Belvidere, Illinois, and what they caught on video, may chill you to the core.
Do You Believe in Ghosts?
A few weeks ago I wrote an article about an upcoming Haunted Rockford event at the Boone County Museum of History on March 28, 2026. During this event they will be conducting a ghost hunt of the rumored haunted museum, but what I didn't know until today was that MidwestGhost Investigators recently did a pre-investigation of the location.
I may not be able to sleep tonight after watching some of the things they experienced.
Here's how MidwestGhost Investigators described their experience at the Boone County Museum of History on YouTube:
Throughout the night, multiple pieces of paranormal equipment lit up with spirit communication — including a chilling 10-minute session through the paranormal music box. We documented ghost activity, black shadow movement, and what appears to be shadow people caught on tape inside one of the Midwest’s most haunted locations.
OMG!

If MidwestGhost Investigators' pre-investigation is any indication, attendees of the upcoming event might be in for way more than just a history lesson.
