I had the distinct privilege to be in the audience for Garth Brook's return to the big stage for the first time in 17 years at his concert Thursday night September 4th at the Allstate Arena. Garth was joined by Trisha Yearwood for a part of the show

All I can say....INCREDIBLE SHOW! Garth played for approximately 2 1/2 hours. The audience sang along to just about every song. If you are going to one of the upcoming shows, and want to be surprised, you may not want to look past the picture below, as I reveal Garth's set-list for his comeback concert

Tons of Cheers all night long with one exception......

When Illinois Governor Pat Quinn, appeared on stage to present Garth and Trisha with a  "State of Illinois Garth Brooks and Trish Yearwood Day" Proclamation before the second encore, the audience let out a loud round of boos.

Otherwise, it was an emotional and cheery night. If you have tickets for the upcoming shows, you are in store for a real treat!
