Fred VanVleet Is Now Influencing Global Policies

Pretty sure no one thought Fred VanVleet was going to be a topic of discussion between world leaders when he was playing at Auburn, but here we are. 

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was in Ottawa last week doing Secretary of State-type things when he bonded with Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland over the Rockford native.

Freeland, a Toronto native, obviously loves Fred for what he brought to her hometown Raptors and it turns out Mike Pompeo is a big fan as well. Pompeo was a congressman from Wichita when he fell in love with Fred when he was leading the Wichita St. Shockers to deep tournament runs.

Turns out this world just needs some more Fred and we'll all be getting along in no time.
