We're glad you asked.

The Fourth of July parade and fireworks of course!

According to the City of Rockford Government on Facebook, the parade will begin downtown at 7 p.m.

The Facebook posts also includes the following information about the event.

Avenue with the traditional “Motorcycle Parade” at 6:50 p.m. Please note, this year the parade route will end at Chestnut and Church Streets.

The Rockford Fourth of July Committee will provide entertainment and refreshments at Davis Park from 5 p.m. until the fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m.'

Because of the parade, there will of course be street closings and things to watch out for and you can get all of that info here.
