Did Rockford’s Harold’s Chicken Already Close?

New restaurants opening and closing are hot topics here in the Stateline, so how did this one slip under the radar?

Harold's Chicken seems to have closed its doors at 109 North Show Place Drive in Rockford.

You know it was only open for six months too. What the heck?

So here's what I've gathered, according to the RRStar, Harold's Chicken Shack opened in May of this year.

Everyone was really excited.

Then the excitement died down... and according to one of my Facebook friends, the shack was closed and signs were removed as of November 15.

Have you been over there?

Is Harold's really closed? I tried to call the number on their website and it said the mailbox was full and legitimately told me to hang up.
