Playoff baseball has returned to Wrigley Field for the first time in seven years, and so has everyone's favorite Cubs themed sausages from Hot Doug's.

As if we needed another reason to hope and pray that the Chicago Cubs continue a winning World Series journey, but as long as playoff baseball continues at Wrigley, so will the special sausage deliciousness from Hot Doug's. The iconic encased-meat emporium may have closed it's restaurant doors for good last October, but they opened a Hot Doug's concession stand directly behind Wrigley's center field scoreboard this past July, and fans have been rejoicing since then.

If you are headed to the Cubs game this afternoon, and you're able to pry yourself away from the action long enough, you need to try one of Hot Doug's sausages created especially for Cubs fans. Here's a description of them from the Chicago Tribune:

Hot Doug's has revived three of the most popular sausages of the regular season: The Carmen Fanzone (spicy Polish sausage with caramelized onions), Dave Kingman (a bacon-cheeseburger sausage with cola barbecue sauce and sharp cheddar) and the Bill Bonham (very spicy pork sausage with smoked gouda and cherry marmalade).

The Tribune also calls these "the best tasting option you've got" at Wrigley Field today. Enjoy, and GO CUBS!
