This pandemic has been hard on all of us, but I can only imagine how hard this must be for residents in nursing homes and the families that love them and cannot visit them.

When the whole pandemic started, I thought for sure this headache would be over by the time the holiday season rolled around, but...here we are, just a couple weeks away from the end of 2020, and no real end to the virus in sight.

Instead of being depressed about all we're missing thanks to stupid, ole COVID-19, why don't we all make a real effort to focus on, and be the good in this community.

I know that sounds like a tall order, but it's really as simple as being kind to others, or picking up some markers or crayons to help brighten the day of people that have been forced to be lonely for way too long.

RE/MAX of Rock Valley is encouraging kids, (and adults too), to color holiday pictures that they will then deliver to nursing home residents in Oregon and Mount Morris. They're even providing the designs to color to make it even easier for you.

✨HELP US SPREAD HOLIDAY CHEER!✨Calling all kids! Get the crayons and markers out and have your kids or grandchildren...
