If your idea of the perfect fall evening involves taking a relaxing stroll through beautiful larger-than-life light displays, then you need to plan a trip to the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, Wisconsin for the 2024 China Lights Exhibit!

Wisconsin's China Lights Exhibit

Did you know that every fall the Boerner Botanical Gardens near Milwaukee transforms into a wonderland of amazing light displays, featuring mythical creatures, animals and more all dressed up in lights as a celebration of Chinese culture? Me neither, but strolling through Christmas light displays is one of my very favorite things to do in life, so China Lights it is definitely something I want to put on this fall's must-do list!

Here's the cool part; China Lights is more than just light displays. The immersive experience also features interactive play areas for children, food vendors serving up delicious Chinese cuisine, and even live performances every evening.

China Lights' website says;

we'll have three stage performances every night at 6:00 pm. 7:00 pm, and 8:30 pm. Each performance lasts about 25 minutes and is included in the event admission. Live stage entertainment will be behind the food court area with some of our favorite acts such as face changing and foot juggling.

You ready to go? Me too!

China Lights: Year of the Dragon will be open for your viewing pleasure on September 13, 2024 and will be open Tuesday through Sunday evenings through October 17, 2024. Each evening four different entrance times are available, and you can reserve tickets now at chinalights.org. (Better grab them now while you still can...many dates are starting to sell out!)
