Check out this video released by the Chicago Bears about what sports were like during the pandemic in 1918.

My family has been Chicago Bears season ticket holders for years. When it comes to fall, I'm used to spending Sunday afternoons at Soldier Field. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen this season. I'm happy that they are at least trying to play out the games and I can watch them on television.

These are truly strange times. I've never experienced anything like it in my lifetime. There's nothing to compare it too. I've heard about the pandemic in 1918 but I don't know a lot about it. How were things handled back then? What were sports like?

Well, the Chicago Bears are giving us a history lesson. They recently released a video about sports during the 1918 pandemic. Check it out for yourself. From the Chicago Bears YouTube Channel.
