Police near Chicago arrested a man for having 32 pounds of marijuana gummy bears.

Last fall, I was driving through Indiana. I stopped in Merrillville because there is a candy factory with an outlet store there. My family loves gummy bears, so I bought them a two-pound bag of them. Months later, there are still some left.

It was the biggest bag of gummy bears I've ever seen. I could only imagine how many there would be in a 32-pound bag.

According to fox32chicago.com,

"A Waukegan man was allegedly found with several pounds of THC-infused gummy bears Saturday during a traffic stop in north suburban Evanston. A police dog helped search the car, in which officers found four bags of THC-infused gummy bears weighing 476 grams, two shipping boxes of additional gummy bears weighing 32 pounds and seven vials of THC oil."

It's not a surprise that the man was pulled over for running a stop sign. His car smelled like weed.

Can you say genius?
