This Sunday, do something different for Father's Day and go check out the stars for free at the Adler Planetarium.

According to DNA Info the Planetarium is offering free general admission not just for Dad on Sunday but for all Illinois residents. All you have to do is show prove of your Illinois residency to receive free admittance.

Or "customers can take $12 off a basic pass, which would then cost $12.95, or an all access pass, which would cost $17.95. Children are also free Sunday, but a child's basic pass for $11.95 or an all access pass for a $16.95."

The museums hours on Sunday are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
