Brett Young has called upon Boyz II Men for his CMT Crossroads special, airing March 27.

The next episode of CMT Crossroads will feature the soulful iconic boy band along with Young for a performance that's sure to be anything but ordinary. The one-hour show will premiere at 10PM ET. There are plenty of hits to call upon on both sides, so there's no telling what songs will be traded back and forth.

After the announcement, Young tweeted: "These dudes are LEGENDS! Let's go!" Indeed, Boyz II Men have been together for more than 27 years, and are the best-selling R&B group of all time, with sales topping 64 million records.

Boys II Men replied to Young's praise on Instagram in the most humble of ways, writing, "We just landed ....on our way homie ....y'all got food ?? Need to eat ! Lol."

The comment seems to infer they are performing the concert in Nashville sooner rather than later. Young's tour schedule doesn't start back up again until March 1, as well, making it even more likely.

Young has long been a fan of the R&B trio, even covering their song "Water Runs Dry" at his concert in Atlanta on Nov. 18 of last year. The crowd went wild when Young sang the song during an intimate moment of the show. Additionally, Young has performed Boyz II Men covers at other radio shows and events.

This spring Young will hit the road with Kelsea Ballerini on the 2019 Miss Me More Tour featuring support from newcomer Brandon Ratcliff. The tour kicks off this April and goes through May traveling all over the United States. Tickets are on sale now!
