Brett Eldredge Surprises Chicago Cancer Survivor

An 18-year-old man from Palatine, IL has spent that last year fighting a rare form of brain cancer that included many surgeries, chemo, radiation and even a stem cell transplant. The good news? Chris Timonen is now cancer free, and was recently surprised with some awesome congratulatory gifts..including one from fellow Illinoisan Brett Eldredge.

After hearing about Timonen's cancer fight, Windy City Live decided to team up with The Nikolas Ritschel Foundation to give Chris and his family their dream vacation, and then Brett Eldredge popped by to add to the surprise.

Thank goodness Windy City Live was there to catch the surprise live. (FYI, Brett Eldredge's surprise comes at about the 4:30 minute mark)
