Illinois Food Fans Agree on Rockford’s Best Lasagna Spots

When I shared the news with you last week that one of the best lasagnas in America is made in Illinois, I had no idea I would get such a response.

While Volare Ristorante Italiano was called the best in the state, it's located in Chicago.

So folks decided to tell me what should really be considered the best lasagna in the state.

I decided I would comb through the comments and put together a very unscientific list of the best places for lasagna in Rockford.

At the top, and I should have seen this coming, was Lino's. Well-known for its pizza, Lino's lasagna is another reason people come to the restaurant year after year.

The Best Lasagna in Rockford According to Locals

Sherri J. on Yelp says, "My favorite lasagna in the world is at Lino's," and Catherine S. called the dish "to die for," while Kyle S.'s one-word review of the lasagna, "OMG!" should be all you need to know.
