When you hear the word "Wisconsin", what do you think of first?

It was no surprise that most of the answers we received to the above question involved the words "beer", "cheese", "brats", and "Packers", but then there were a few more that I completely agree with;

Lots of great big lakes.
Illinois’ largest state park!!
DAY DRINKING AND SUPPER CLUBBIN!
Parks, bars, churches, and Kwik Trips

I have lived in Illinois my entire life, and I have also spent a LOT of free weekends and vacations up in Wisconsin. I think what I love most about our neighbor to the North is the lakes, the relaxation vibe I get when I go up there, lakeside dive bars, and the BEER!

I have always enjoyed drinking Miller Lite, but in the last few years I have become fully involved with the ever-popular Spotted Cow obsession. Lucky for us living in Northern Illinois, its not too hard to get our hands on a case or 12 pack of Spotted Cow, but am I the only one who thinks the beer just tastes better as a draft in a Wisconsin bar?!?

Today I stumbled upon an MSN article about "15 Historic Breweries in the US You Need to Visit," and I was pleasantly surprised to see 4 of the 15 mentioned are in Wisconsin...
