Did your daughter get asked to homecoming and you're a little low on funds to get her that special dress? No worries Becca's Closet in Rockford can help you with that.

In fact, all of the dresses at Becca's Closet will be given to the girls for free.

Yes free! Now that will certainly help anyone who finds themselves a bit cash strapped.

Wow! I sure wish they would have had something like that when I was in high school. I didn't go to Prom or Homecoming. One main reason was because I hadn't the money to get a really nice dress and I didn't want to ask my parents for it. At that time they were saving money to pay for my oldest sister's wedding and helping my middle sister with her college tuition.  A place like Becca's Closet would have been a huge help.

If you're in need of that perfect dress for your daughter, WIFR reports that Becca's closet opened this past Saturday, September 3rd. The non-profit boutique will remain open every Saturday until October 8th inside the Lutheran Church of Good Shepherd, from 9am to Noon.

The organization gives away free dresses for special occasions (Prom and Homecoming) and accessories in all sizes, colors and styles.
