Area Restaurants Offering Free Meals for Vets on Veteran’s Day [List]

Veteran’s Day is coming up on Wednesday. November 11th is the day we celebrate the women and men who make the ultimate sacrifice for our country everyday. Take a moment and thank a service man or woman.

Once again many restaurant chains and local eateries are offering thanks by treating active military and veterans discounted and sometimes free meals.

Applebee’s – All Day, free meal from a special menu for Vets and active duty

Denny’s – 5am-12pm Free Build Your Own Grand Slam, from 5 a.m. to Noon..Must show  proof of military service.

Golden Corral – 5pm-9pm. Free meals and a beverages will be given to anyone who has ever served in the military or is on current active duty, including retirees, veterans, National Guard or Reserves. No identification is required.

IHOP – All Day Veterans receive a free stack of Red, White & Blue pancakes. You must show proof of service. Not all locations are participating.

Little Caesar’s – Free pizza or $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo (11a-2pm) Call ahead to verify participation.

Linos - Free Spaghetti or lasagna Dinner (Dine in in only)

Olive Garden – All Day. Veterans can choose a free entrée from a special menu. Proof of military service is required.

Red Lobster. Active duty military, reserve, and military veterans can get a free appetizer or dessert on Monday, November 9 through Thursday, November 12, 2015. Must dine-in and show proof of military service.

Starbucks – All Day,  Veterans, active duty members and their families receive a tall brewed coffee on Veteran’s Day although not all locations are participating.

Texas Roadhouse -  Free lunch from special menu. Dine-in only.
