Amazon has been out there blessing Prime members with 20 cents off per gallon for over a week now, and I just learned about this today.

Here’s the deal: Amazon Prime members in Illinois can save 20 cents a gallon on gas every Friday through May 29, 2026.

So, what's the catch?

You have to link your account to the Earnify app to get the discount, and it's only available at participating BP, Amoco, ampm, and Thorntons locations.

The discount actually stacks together from a few smaller savings, but it totals 20 cents per gallon (read the specifics here), which, in Illinois terms, is basically like finding a $5 bill in your winter coat.

Oh, and here's one more important thing: you can only utilize the savings once per Friday, so plan accordingly.

Hopefully I don't forget this information next Friday when I'm rolling into the gas station on fumes again.
