A South Beloit Financial Advisor is This Week’s Hometown Hero

This is a great story and example of how important a role model can be regardless of age.

Many children have lived through similar circumstances, a parent leaves to never been heard from again How tragic. I will never understand how any human being can desert their child or children. This is the exact story for Christal, who nominated her uncle, Ben Davis of South Beloit.

Ben Davis is my uncle. When I was born, he was about to turn 12. My father walked out of the picture and my uncle still a child himself took on the role of helping me grow and teach me the way. He used to pick me up from school when my mom would work. He is a true hero because he stepped up when another person stepped out and he raised me and taught me everything I needed to know. He is my hero!!!
