Here's 7 words I never thought I would say; there's too much candy in my house. Seriously. Here's the haul my 4-year-old scored this year while trick-or-treating which doesn't even include the candy we have leftover.

I have the worst sweet tooth ever, and I am fully confident that I could help her eat this entire stash in a couple weeks time, but, I shouldn't. Right? Right.

I recently came across a list of 25 Things to Do With Leftover Halloween Candy on, and here are 4 things I may be doing this year with our candy stash to make me feel like I'm not really eating it all.

  • Freeze it and use the pieces of candy for milkshakes and sundaes throughout the year, or (Stop the presses!), throw the candy in some cookie dough for some extra sweetness in your treats.
  • Put chocolates in your coffee for an instant and delicious mocha.
  • Use it for holiday decor like wreaths for Halloween, or decorations on your gingerbread houses.
  • Send it to troops overseas through organizations like Operation Shoebox.
