Wow! It's hard to believe but the 4th of July holiday is this Friday!

I can't wait. There's just something exciting about this day. Maybe it's the fireworks. Maybe it's getting together with my family. I really love this day.

Are you ready for the day?

If you're planning a get together, whether it's fancy or casual, but wondering where to start. Maybe this quick little list of your 4th of July must haves can help!To have a great Independence day celebration you need the following:

Games - How about setting up for croquet or bags, lawn jarts or ladder football. Maybe my Dad will finally set up his horseshoe set he bought 3 years ago.

Fireworks - Either plan on stopping across the border in WI to pick up a few goodies to set off in your yard or better yet pack the crew up and head out to one of the many fireworks displays happening Friday night. Check  q985online.com for the fireworks shows near you.

Decorations - They don't need to be fancy. Picking up some streamers or flags at the Dollar Store would be fine. Anything red, white and blue will work.

Food - Break out that grill for hotdogs and burgers. My family is grilling out brats along with the dogs and burgers. Make sure to assign everyone to bring a dish. That makes less work for you. Make sure to include the holiday must haves of potato salad, bakes beans, and watermelon.

Now you're all set. It's time to celebrate.

I wish you and your family and happy and safe 4th!
