The YMCA Has Job Openings That Are Perfect for Stay-At-Home Parents
It's about the time of year where I start looking at my budget and think about how much easier holiday shopping would be if I had a little extra cash coming in.
It's also the time of year I toy around with the idea of getting a seasonal part-time job, but then one blaring problem stops me in my tracks; what will I do with my kids while I earn this extra cash?
If this problem is something you are all too familiar with, or you are a stay-at-home parent whose family could benefit from some part-time cash coming in, the YMCA of Rock River Valley may just have the perfect job opportunity for you.
The YMCA will be holding a Job Fair at their Youth Achievement Office in Applewood Plaza #2 on East Riverside on October 4, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to a press release, the Y has openings for "various part-time roles including for our Kids' Time before and after school program, youth education at Camp Winnebago and 21st Century school sites."
So why is this the perfect opportunity for stay-at-home parents? Here's why; "YMCA employees receive free enrollment in Kids' Time for their children while they are working. Parents can earn some extra money while their kids engage in a nurturing environment."
Win, win right? Mom and Dad can earn some extra cash without having to spend the majority of the cash they just earned on a babysitter for the littles.
Applications can be completed in person at the Job Fair, or you can apply online now for any open positions the YMCA currently has here.
