Yesterday Ended the Second Snowiest October in Rockford History
Halloween 2019 was the most confusing Halloween in history for me. I usually get real into the holiday because I LOVE dressing up, but yesterday I wasn't feeling it.
What I was feeling yesterday was extreme Christmas spirit. I literally found myself envisioning where I was going to hang my new Christmas decor at the same time I was supposed to be handing out candy.
My family's holiday confusion led to the creation of the pumpkin snowman pictured above, and possessed me to break out my cozy Santa suit to wear as a Halloween costume.
All in all, we had a good Halloween. My kids collected a record-breaking stash of candy while trick-or-treating, and Rockford achieved a record-breaking October according to WTVO Chief Meteorologist Candice King:
