One thing is for sure about Christmas is all the goodie trays that will be put out at parties or given as gifts. Of course everyone has their favorites they like to snatch right away from the tray.

Then there are the others you definitely avoid like the plague.

Do you have any that you just can't stand? The Huffington Post came out with a list or the worst to the best Christmas cookies.

According to the article the worst and most hated cookie are the Spritz cookie.

They said it's bland and tries too hard to be a standout cookie.

The top and best cookie are the Shortbread cookies.

Really, I like Shortbread but I wouldn't say they're my number one pick.

I was really surprised that the sugar cookie didn't hit the top of the list. It actually landed at # 13. The survey said they were standard cookies we can eat any old time.

Gingerbread cookies beat them out at # 11.

Oh and those brown sugar cookies with the Hershey Kiss i the middle... yeah those. They fell right in between the sugar cookie and gingerbread at #12.

Hmmm... I'm not in agreement with this list. My favorites are the homemade peanut butter cups made with the Ritz crackers and the toffee that tastes like Skor bars. I would have put those licorice drop cookies, Pfeffernussen at the worst. I like licorice but not in my cookies.

Take a look at the complete list here.

What are your thoughts? What would you say are the worst and best Christmas Cookie?
