Anyone who's ever been to Wrigley Field  knows who Ronnie "Woo Woo" Wickers is, so when news broke that he was recently kicked out of a Cubs game everyone wanted to know why.

Some people love Ronnie "Woo Woo", some find him annoying, but we'll all agree he's a Chicago Cubs super fan and a trip to Wrigley is not complete without hearing his "woo". Well, even Ronnie "Woo Woo" will get ejected from Wrigley Field for not having a ticket.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, Wickers was ejected from a game at Wrigley on April 19th during the seventh inning. A spokesperson for the Cubs told the Sun Times that;

Wickers had tried to get into the ballpark earlier without a ticket and that is why security staff approached him in the first place.

“Our guest services staff knows who Ronnie is. They know what he does and that he is here to enjoy the games and to somewhat entertain the fans,” said Julian Green, Cubs vice president of communications and community affairs.

“But he has to have a ticket like everyone else,” Green said.

Wickers says he never tried to sneak into the ballpark without a ticket, but that a friend invited him, and was later unable to bring up the e-tickets he had purchased when approached by Wrigley staff. What does Ronnie "Woo Woo" have to say about the embarrassing incident? Here's what he told the Chicago Sun Times:

They just lied about everything. I’m going to fight this with my last breath. I would like to sit down with Mr. Tom Ricketts for 10 minutes and let him roll back the videotape,”

Cubs fans definitely have Wickers back, and believe he deserves a public apology from the Cubs organization for the disrespect. Do you think he'll get one? Only time will tell.
