These are definitely strange times. I find myself sometimes worrying too much about COVID-19 and other times feel like maybe I'm not worried enough. One thing I'm lucky to have though is a job. Many people, especially in the service industry, aren't so lucky.

Seems like every day things are changing and the mass confusion only makes it more worrisome for those losing their jobs. Thankfully there are a lot of sites out there that can help, if you know where to look.

Book Club has rounded up some resources available now for those facing financial uncertainty. Did you know workers who are temporarily laid off because of COVID-19 can qualify for benefits as long as they are able to return to their place of employment once it reopens?

This website has tons of information for those in the service industry, those needing temporary assistance, SNAP, and even Medicaid recipients.

During these uncertain times, it's best to be as prepared as possible. Hopefully this helps those that need it.
