A Major Change in Weather Will Happen This Weekend

After a nice streak of mild-weather days in the Rockford region and high temperatures surpassing 80 degrees for the first time this year, there's a cool down coming that could also bring springtime snow flurries.

According to the latest forecast from the Weather Channel, high temperatures will remain in the lower 80's on Thursday (4/13) and Friday (4/14), then afternoon thunderstorms are likely on Saturday with highs in the upper 70s.

Rain and possibly flurries by Sunday?

Sunday (4/16) will be cloudy and rainy with high temperatures only expected to reach the lower 50s.

Sunday night lows will dip into the lower 30s with rain and snow showers in the evening, according to the latest Weather Channel forecast for Rockford. No accumulation is expected with these snow flurries.
