A restaurant in Dixon is making waves on social media after a member of the U.S. Air Force had his dinner tab picked up.

Basil Tree Ristorante at 1231 1st St. in Dixon is described as a "semi-formal dining room with faux-rustic decor serving traditional pasta, meats & seafood."

You can now add the Basil Tree as a place that respects what all servicemen and women do for their country.

Kelly Shroyer shared a picture last night on Facebook after she and her nephew Devrick Sayles, a member of the U.S. Air Force, had their entire meal on the house at Basil Tree.

Shroyer referred to the action made by Basil Tree as an "Unbelievable kindness."

The photo was of the receipt Shroyer and Sayles received from Basil Tree and it read:

"Thank you so much for your service! Mili says your dinner is on him tonight! Have a great night!"

"+ Kelly is awesome."
