Watch Tinley Park Firefighters Rescue Dog From Icy Pond

Several people saw an adventurous Rottweiler running loose on Saturday morning in Tinley Park, Illinois, and when people stopped to try and catch it, the dog fled over a berm and ended up slipping through the ice of a retention pond. Good thing the pup had good luck on her side.

Tinley Park Firefighters jumped aboard a kayak and had to chop through ice to paddle to the dog, but eventually they reached her and warmed hearts everywhere.

Nothing like a happy ending to warm your heart on a frigid day, don't you agree?
