Well, it's official. Winter's vengeance is here. On days like this I thank my lucky stars for remote start on my car, but then I came across an article this morning that blew my mind.

Ok, maybe saying it blew my mind was a little extreme, but it did bring up points that I have been subconsciously trying to avoid. When it's 4 in the morning and bitterly cold outside, letting my car run for 15 minutes so it doesn't feel like my buns are sitting on slabs of ice is totally worth it. Then I read this article and feel bad for wasting gas and harming the environment.

What do you think? Will you still warm up and idle your car's engine during these winter mornings? I think I may just adjust my warm up times. Perhaps 15 minutes is a bit excessive? Maybe 5 minutes would be better?
