Who waged war on weeds in your flower beds and gardens this weekend?

I did. My vengeance was against the rapidly growing maple tree seedlings that are all over in my landscaped flower beds.

In the picture above you can see the culprit maple seedlings crowded around my bushes and tuplis.

I need to retract my complaints about the gray skies, cool temperatures and rain last week. I was very grateful for them this weekend. The moist soft ground helped me in my attack on the maple seedlings. I could pull them out with ease from the roots no less.
