Walmart Reveals Illinois and Wisconsin’s Top Selling Online Items

Walmart did a quick survey to see what their top selling items were online in each of our 50 states.

You'll never guess what were Illinois' and Wisconsin's in 2017.

According to a report picked up by WGN, Walmart.com found that each state had some interesting items that appeared to be the most purchased in 2017. The items weren't the typical household, everyday items we typically get when shopping Walmart either.

Some states ranked high in school supplies, while others most purchased items were snack foods and candy.

In fact, New Mexico couldn't get enough of the Flamin' Hot Cheetos, while Arkansas wanted their chocolate and Colorado just wanted Peanut M&M's. Hmm, that's interesting it wasn't brownies. Ha!

So what did the results reveal about Illinois and Wisconsin?

You're not gonna believe this but Illinoisans wanted erasers. Yes, erasers were the top sellers for Walmart. Weird. Erasers? Really? OK....

Now, Wisconsinites stop your laughing because you guys were all about getting your Green Bay Packers bath mats. Yep, y'all wanted to wipe and dry your feet on the "Packers."

Now those really are quite different and certainly not the items I thought would be either states top sellers at all.

We certainly do have some strange buying habits, don't we?
